Stephen

Sharon Thornton has worked widely in the field of cosmetology since 1985. Her experience includes extensive freelance and magazine work, and she is the former owner of Vintage Hair Design in Hoboken. At Imago, she now offers hair relaxing, weaving, conditioning treatments, all types of permanent waves and coloring, as well as hair cutting and styling for weddings and special occasions. Sharon also has extensive experience in Japanese thermal straightening. Sharon welcomes your questions about special needs for the health and beauty of your hair.

Sharon’s Product Picks:

1. PhytoSpecific Products – I find that those products work for all types and textures of hair – fine to medium to even coarse.
2. Brilliant Anti-Humectant – I’ve been using it for 15 years and out of all the hair products, it has been the most versatile styling tool for all textures of hair.
3. Aveda Gel Cleanser - For my own skin, I only trust the Aveda Gel Cleanser, which I have used faithfully for the last 10 years. I just love the product.
